NEWS RELEASE: DR BRIAN MAY DONATES SIGNED SWEATSHIRT FOR BERE REGIS COMMUNITY PROJECTS

Dr Brian May’s Save Me charity has donated a personally signed sweatshirt to raise funds for community projects in the village of Bere Regis in Dorset.

Dr May autographed the top to help local causes after residents and children from Bere Regis Community School assisted him with the initial planting of 100,000 new trees on his land, known as ‘May’s Wood’ in nearby Shitterton last September.

The five to eleven year old pupils also sang the New Woodland Song live for Dr May, written by local songwriter Linda Lamon.

The Queen guitarist, astro physicist and environmental campaigner owns 160 acres of land in and around Bere Regis which he is transforming into native woodland.

For people interested in bidding for the top, it is now listed on Ebay – item number 181452397361 until 9th July.
