The shortlist for the 2016 British LGBT Awards has been announced and MPT founder Brian May has been nominated for a Celebrity Straight Ally of the Year award.
From tomorrow 1 March until the 22 March, the public will be asked to vote to decide the winner of each category. Voting takes place

The Celebrity Straight Ally category recognises and celebrates those who have done good for the LGBT community. As you know, Brian’s extensive work to raise awareness and understanding for people living with HIV has contributed to his nomination.
