Very sad to hear that Robin finally left this world, after a long battle.
An amazing voice, so distinctive, and expressive.
And, for me, the music of the Bee Gees really has peaks as high as any mountain ever climbed by a Pop/Rock group.
Yes, I played with the guys in the very first Princes Trust concert at the Royal Albert Hall … in 19 … I’m not sure when … [1988]
We played that amazing track “You Win Again”. It has an effortless majesty of rhythm and understated phrasing. Love it. Will never forget it.
And the Bee Gees will never be forgotten.
Real magic, and will remain immortal, as long as there are singers and songs.
