I am contributing to Radio 5 Live this morning – in a discussion in which the case for the badger massacre will be put by David Heath. I understand the segment with Heath begins around 8.40 am.
This will be a rare opportunity, even if brief, for me to speak on the subject in the media. Some of you will have seen my Loose Women appearance this week, in which it was made very clear to me that I could not get into anything controversial. All I was able to do was interject a sentence right at the end of the interview. There have been discussions about me appearing on Springwatch, but I have been told I would not be allowed to mention Badgers or Buzzards. This situation is intolerable in a so-called democracy.
But this is what we have.
We soldier on.
