Spectacular !!! The ongoing New Horizons Mission (Beyond Pluto) is set to rendezvous with the mist distant object the Hand of Man has ever touched – or photographed ! I hope to be with the Mission’s creators on New Year’s Eve to experience that encounter. Watch out !
Nobody knows!!! This is an (informed) artist’s impression of what a fly on the wall might see when the New Horizons probe performs its fly-by of the Kuiper Belt Object (KBO). Is it double ? Is it dumbbell shaped like Rosetta’s comet ? NOBODY knows for sure – which is why this mission has caught everyone’s imagination. And it’s certainly inspired me!!! Wait and see !!
