Today, due to a glitch in the system, our day off will be spent travelling. Damn ! And we’re heading into 6 final shows in 6 cities in 9 days. It’s a good life if ya don’t weaken, says my missus! So the best prep is … back on the bike ! And there’s time for a swim this morn. On it !! Have a good healthy day folks !
Farewell Chicago ! This has been my view for the last week – not bad !! I’ve seen it in sunshine and in rain and seen it disappear in fog ! Only to reappear glistening like this. I think Chicago is a beautiful city, with a strong architectural soul. We’ve been ‘hubbing’ out of Chicago – which saves in packing and unpacking, but honestly I don’t recommend it. It gives you twice the amount of travelling time, and I feel like I didn’t really experience St Paul or Columbus at all. I like to breathe in the life of a city – it’s a rare privilege. But now – au revoir Windy City. On to Nashville ! Yee hah !!! Music City !! — As usual, parallel stereo, cross-eye stereo, and mono ! For those who care about hyperstereos … my baseline between iPhone sequential shots here was about 4 feet (a little over a metre). And I always use the i3Dsteroid app now. Marvellous !
