I was out in the fields today enjoying wild mushroom time. These giant parasols seemed quite magical to me in the setting sunlight.
I’m finding Autumn rambles are good for clearing the head. And I’m reminded that all of this beauty and wonder is now threatened by the behaviour of Man. Neither urbanisation nor farming prioritise Nature and wildlife – in fact they are mostly regarded as the most expendable commodity.
And so we allow the glory of the natural world to die under our very noses. Thinking that someone else will fix it.
