In 2011 – A three metre high statue of Freddie Mercury was sited in Liverpool, to make promote the “We Will Rock You” Musical coming to Liverpool Empire from 6-24 September.

In 2011 – A press release announced Queen “BMI Icons London Award” for the band’s influence on the entire world of music and for their lifetime achievement appointed “BMI Icons”. The award ceremony was to take place on 04 October 2011, Dorchester Hotel, Park Lane, London.
In 2011 – Brian May confirmed on his web site further concerts with Kerry Ellis planned for summer 2012 and shooting already started for their new songs.
In 2012 – Brian May Guitars released Red Special versions in three new colours.

In 2014 – Brian May, Roger Taylor, Adam Lambert and entourage arrived in Japan, at Kansai International Airport, Osaka greeted by many awaiting fans,who they obliged with lots of autographs.
