Freddie the Lion, snapped by Dana Kubick in London outside the National Gallery yesterday, 8 August…
Dana, who took the photo writes:
“I was on my way to meet someone at the National Gallery today and had my camera in my hand to shoot some of the changes in London due to the Olympics, when I spotted a lion carried across the street — a terrific sight.:
“I shot first, then looked properly and not only could it be a Born-Free-Lion, but it was a Freddie Lion – looking very wonderful and surreally carried out of Trafalgar Square to disappear into the crowd at St Martin’s.”
