Roger Taylor, the Queen drummer, offers tips on Zermatt’s highlights, from the spectacular Matterhorn to the Gornergrat railway

Why Zermatt?
I went to Zermatt for the first time in 1980 and I was instantly smitten by everything about the place. It is extreme in its beauty and its fearsome, steep mountains, and is very pure in its “Swiss-ness”. I love skiing and I believe Zermatt is the perfect ski resort, with more than a dozen or so peaks towering at 4,000 metres high in the surrounding area. It also has some of the best-looking mountains across the globe including the Matterhorn, which is probably the most spectacular peak in the world. More HERE
