Buenos Aires, Thursday 30 April: Queen + Adam Lambert have added an extra concert date to their forthcoming South America tour, today announcing a Buenos Aires, Argentina, show September 25 at the city’s GEBA Stadium. Tickets are on sale from May 4 at www.TopShow.com.ar.

The added show brings Queen + Adam Lambert ‘s total number of September shows in South America to five.

Already announced are Brazil dates at Sao Paulo, Ibirapuera Arena (September 16), headlining opening night at the Rock in Rio Festival, Rio de Janeiro (September 18), Porto Alegre, Gigantinho Arena (September 21) plus one show in Chile at the city of Santiago’s Pista Atletica, National Stadium (September 30).

Such is the excitement surrounding Queen + Lambert’s opening night at the historic Rock in Rio Festival, a show which will celebrate Queen’s return to Rio’s City of Rock almost exactly 30 years after appearing at the very first Rock in Rio January 11, 1985, that tickets for this appearance sold out in less than three hours after going on sale.

The South America shows follow Queen + Adam Lambert having played 67 completely sold out arena shows across North America, Japan, South Korea, Australia, New Zealand and Europe in less than a year. News of additional dates in South America is anticipated.

Adam Lambert has just completed a brand new album, writing and working with the production team of Shellback and Max Martin (Max is responsible for 19 #1 US hits, and Billboard’s “Producer of the Year”). The first single, “Ghost Town” was released earlier this month, and the album “The Original High” follows in mid-June.
