Brian May & Kerry Ellis ‘So Sad’ Buxton Opera House 19 February 2014
– http://youtu.be/F_5p6IwibfM
Brian May and Kerry Ellis performed the Everly Brothers ‘So Sad’ at Buxton Opera House, and Brian introduced the song, paying tribute to Phil Everly, who had recently died. (Audio of Brian’s intro included.) A nice harmonising duet. Video zooms in later in the song, to give some closer footage at end.
Lyrics
“SO SAD (TO WATCH GOOD LOVE GO BAD)”
(written by Minchella, Damon / Fowler, Simon /
Harrison, Oscar Lloyd / Cradock, Stephen)
So Sad (to Watch Good Love Go Bad)
We used to have good times together
But now I feel them slip away
It makes me cry to see love die
So sad to watch good love go bad
Remember how you used to feel dear?
You said nothing could change your mind
It breaks my heart to see us part
So sad to watch good love go bad
Is it any wonder
That I feel so blue
When I know for certain
That I’m losing you
Remember how you used to feel dear?
You said nothing could change your mind
It breaks my heart to see us part
So sad to watch good love go bad S
o sad to watch good love go bad
