Many thanks for your messages. At least I know I am not alone. But the thing missing from all those interchanges – is any proper reaction from Apple themselves …. they seem to keep themselves very aloof …. and apparently uncaring …
I know it’s a big company … but in a sense, so is Queen … I suppose we could also lock ourselves away and give no response to people’s queries … but it would not feel right.
It’s a worry, really. We have all allowed these machines to become an important part of the way we deal with our lives .. I can’t help feeling that if I were them, I would feel responsible for keeping them up to scratch in every way .. and, in updating, not losing any quality which people have come to rely on … and, if we did, acknowledging the fact, and letting the consumer know that we were working on it …
