We are thrilled at the news that Wales will now scrap their programme for culling badgers, and are embarking on a vaccination programme.
It is now time for the British government to wholeheartedly commit to a programme of vaccination – the only route which can guarantee, long term, the elimination of Bovine Tb from our British Countryside. Their currently proposed plans for the cruel and wasteful slaughter of badgers must now be abandoned.
