PHIL RAMONE
Sad to see another respected friend depart this world. Phil Ramone was
an imaginative and innovative man. A trail-blazer. I enjoyed working with him
more than once … but most memorably on a track in aid of sustainability in
power generation – in collaboration with Soundgarden. We got halfway
through it and then realised our sustainable power source was inoperative.
He said, “Oh, to Hell with it – let’s just make music !”
RIP great bloke.
