I feel lucky to see Lisbon this way. And to be part of its life for a moment. Thanks for having us, folks, and making us feel so special.
These giant bushes with tiny clumps of florets are everywhere here in Lisbon. Lantana, I believe. They’re another kind of miracle to me. If a small child coloured flowers like this, you’d say it was just a childish dream !

Being tourists !!! It was worth the 100 or so stone steps to get up here – on the roof terrace of the Estrela Basilica. Fabulous !

And the magnificent view, looking back into Lisbon, from the tower that Cristo Rei stands on. Unfortunately, nobody with a brain was around when they designed the visitor access (try it !!) and the people that ran it today were rude ! But the experience was still GREAT. The works of Man !! ****
By the way, if you’re viewing this in 3-D, which I hope you are, that little black thing that looks like a fly, to the left in the foreground, is actually a ship in the background that was moving laterally and so adjusted its own parallax, because this is an iPhone sequential stereo. Fun.
