Ladies and Gentlemen, Boys and Girls, Folks of the Bri Army
i speak to you as your Commanding Officer. It’s been a while but i’ve had some traumas in my part of the world and i’m coming through. It took a while to sort.
I have to first of all thank you because you’ve been not just an army of 10,000 people but an army with initiative and drive and imagination. I can’t believe many of you are out there doing amazing things to try and sell my beautiful album. Some of you even getting placards on the street and some of you doing great stuff on Instagram, you’re emailing. I appreciate it very much – very very much. TEN THOUSAND people !!! – I feel like the Grand Old Duke of York, who…
…had ten thousand men.

I find that quite emotional – I don’t know about you.
I’m thanking you very much and i’m gonna make a little announcement now which is – on Friday which is my launch day, the launch day of “Back to the Light”, we’re gonna have a little event which will be BRI-TV, so I’ll be going live on Instagram, completely probably unpredictably and chaotically, but pretty much all through the day. That’s my plan so you can see the kind of insanity that goes on at my place on a launch day.
We’ll be starting pretty early, probably about 8 o’clock in the morning. That’s unheard of for me I know – but we have an interview with Zoe Ball, who’s not, not actually going to be Zoe Ball. It’s going to be Matt Lucas, which is going to be a lot of fun I think, and I’ll talk to Lorraine, and I’m hoping you guys can be a part of that from my perspective and see how it goes on.
I then have loads more interviews during the day and we have gaps. In the gaps I’m hoping I can maybe do some Q & A with you guys and we can do some Instagram connections – get you like one to one and talk to you. I have a couple of guest presenters, guest officers in the Bri Army. I’m not going to tell you who they are right now but they’ll be helping me to do stuff and probably embarrassing me, but that’s fine. I’m up for that, and we hope to have a day which can be fun. You can join us any time. You can then get bored and go away and maybe come back later . But probably on and off and on and off all through Friday we will be doing BRI-TV on Instagram.
