We did not have any hand in this research or the making of this video — Save-Me’s prime focus is WILD animals. But the evidence that @animal.rising has uncovered is so shocking that this action demands support.
My stepping down from the position of Vice President of the RSPCA is not just a reaction this video, but to a wider story of which this is a part. It has nothing whatsoever to do with my health, and the decision was made only when I realised that we could not change the RSPCA’s stance from within.
I still have huge respect for the work the RSPCA does, but I see this as a clear call for the organisation to completely redefine its relationship with animal farming.
Meanwhile Save-Me will continue to work alongside the RSPCA on wild animal issues.
