The late Maurice Bejart kindly donated all his original performance royalties on Ballet for Life to the Mercury Phoenix Trust

Seven years ago, the dance legend Maurice Béjart died, but his dance company Ballet Bejart now lives his work, his talent and his young mind further. Stardust Theatre BV presents exclusive Carre now 13 March / 16 March a tribute to Béjart. It is a tribute to the master who brought ballet to this time.

From Thursday 13 – Sunday, March 16th is Bejart’s spectacular but moving tribute to Freddie Mercury Queen with numerous hits as well as music by Mozart and costumes from Versace to see. Seldom has a ballet Carre so put on its head as Ballet for Life, that one could experience. Most recently in 2009 in Carré,

The beginning of Ballet for Life is typical of the creative resurrection of Mercury. Under white shrouds are the dancers on stage. Then the music of “It’s a beautiful day” sounds and the dancers come to life piece by piece. Then follows a ballet, or rather a show or a poignant video that you do not let go. The death quickly forget all those spirits. Shows the death in this ballet how special, how surprising, how beautiful life is and that you would miss a minute!
