UPDATE: Ballet for Life Japan Performances Cancelled – Announcement.
It is with great regret that we announce the Béjart Ballet Lausanne Japan tour has been canceled because of the unpredictability of immigration restrictions due to on-going global coronavirus concerns. The tour was due to start on September 11 and conclude on September 22, 2020, with a total of 9 shows in Nishinomiya, Sapporo and Tokyo.
Japan Performing Arts Foundation and the Béjart Ballet Lausanne made our best efforts to realize the Japan tour originally scheduled for May 2020 with new dates in September, but unfortunately, we have had to make the decision to cancel it with a heavy heart. We apologize to our valued audiences who have been anticipating the performances but appreciate everyone’s kind understanding for the unavoidable situation and your continued support.
Ticket holders for performances in Tokyo will be e-mailed with refund details from your point of purchase. All tickets will be refunded. However, if you are able and would consider donating your ticket(s) value, it would be greatly appreciated. For more information, please contact us at english@nbs.or.jp.
