Following on from the success of Kings Daughters’ (KD) debut single, Get Up – which launched as an empowering charity song to raise morale during lockdown, and hit No13 in the charts – the band will release their second single on 29th September.
Dancing in the Rain is a beautiful tribute to those who passed away during lockdown and could not be honoured in ceremony due to Covid law. Talia Dean tragically lost her best friend and unable to attend his funeral, through her pain, she composed the track, singing her heart out as a goodbye to her beloved, vocals fuelled with immense power and passion.

Many of us did not get the chance to say goodbye to loved ones in the way we would have liked and the absence of ceremony has left an almighty void. The song’s infectious lyrics, accompanied by an indelible melody and uplifting instrumental, will inspire hope in others to feel the presence of he or she they lost and to “keep on moving.”
