Day of the debate

It’s curious how the actual mechanism of such a debate becomes more and more surprising as one gets close.

It actually makes little sense. And you begin to realise that every important decision by every government in Britain in the last 100 years has been made in this way.

It’s actually incredibly haphazard.

But more of that later.

Here is the ‘order of service’!

Wish us luck! Of course, I won’t be able to speak. Nor will any of the scientific experts on bTB (or farmers, for that matter) …

All we can do is send our gladiators into the arena, and watch from the gallery.
