Rami Malek was with a crew of pals [actually co-stars of “Bohemian Rhapsody” movie Lucy Boynton, Gwilym Lee and Joseph Mazzello] singing his heart out at Wednesday night’s Queen concert in Las Vegas.

Rami said that he was helped very much by Brian May being so available and on hand:

“Really the greatest thing is having Brian May reach out and be there constantly, giving us acceptance who we are.”

“Extra’s” Mark Wright sat down with Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury in “Bohemian Rhapsody.”

As for playing the iconic Queen frontman, Rami said, “I wanted to throw myself into it as deeply as I could. Flew to London and immersed myself in all things Freddie Mercury — took piano lessons, took singing lessons, worked with a movement coach, and tried to discover how and why he did everything that he did.”

Rami is already getting Oscar buzz for his performance. He joked, “If people appreciate this film and the performances are enough to start throwing awards at us, we’ll take them.”

Malek was joined by his co-stars Lucy Boynton, Joseph Mazzello, and Gwilym Lee.

“Bohemian Rhapsody” hits theaters November 2. (USA)
