Last night [8 February] Brian May made a surprise appearance, delighting the audience with a guitar solo, at the Kings Theatre, Southsea, where the ‘We Will Rock You UK’ Tour kicked off the previous evening.
The show runs at the theatre until Saturday 12 February. TICKETS

Queen Legend performs surprise solo at the Kings Theatre

UNSUSPECTING theatre-goers in Southsea erupted with applause last night as one of the greatest rock legends of all time graced the stage to play live guitar solo.
A lucky audience watching We Will Rock You at the Kings Theatre, in Albert Road, were treated to a once in a lifetime experience as Queen member Brian May made an unforgettable cameo at the end of the show.
For Paul Woolf, the chief executive officer of the theatre:
‘It’s such a privilege for us to have Brian here and to have We Will Rock You kicking off its tour here. That meant we had all the cast and crew here last week for their tech week, they basically took over the theatre – it was wonderful.”
