Queen and Adam Lambert ready for Chicago

One of the biggest concerts of the summer is set to rock onto the stage of The United Center this week.

Queen and Adam Lambert will open their tour at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at Chicago’s United Center. Lambert, a former finalist on “American Idol” won raves for his vocals on the show and for his performance with Queen on “Idol.”

Lambert will perform lead vocals on iconic songs such as “We Are The Champions,” “Another One Bites the Dust,” “We Will Rock You,” “Killer Queen” and more.

The tour is scheduled to travel throughout the U.S. this season and then also heads to Asia and Australia. Upcoming shows include July 3 at The Forum in Los Angeles; July 5 and 6 at The Joint in Las Vegas; July 12 at The Palace at Auburn Hills in Detroit and July 17 at Madison Square Garden in New York.
