I am urging people to sign the Independent’s petition today, to end the use of animals in circuses. It’s a sad day when the Government’s own DEFRA department advocates an action of compassion, and the Prime Minister himself blocks it.

And if you are in Wales, and care about animals, I’m sure you are smiling at the resurgence of the Labour Party in this week’s election. PLEASE urge them, with all your persuasive power, to live up to their promise to quash the order for the destruction of Badgers in Pembrokeshire.
